About Arica Nativa

Arica Nativa is a communicational and dissemination workshop that belongs to Fundación Altiplano. This non-profit institution works in the Arica y Parinacota’s Region to promote sustainable development alternatives through strengthening of traditional culture. (go to www.fundacionaltiplano.cl).

Arica Nativa is one of the four major projects of Fundación Altiplano. It integrates a sustainable development model along with the restoration of Arica y Parinacota’s andean churches, the heritage tourism circuit Route of the Missions, and The Research Center in equity and sustainable development, CIPADES.

Arica Nativa proposes the audiovisual as an educational tool at the service of a healthy and durable development. This project includes the following activities; training of young directors, film screenings, original audiovisual production, and the organization of the Rural Film Festival. It also provides professional services for audiovisual productions and communications (further information in audiovisual services).
